Awesome!! Excellent session and a new top speed of 46mph!!
Arrived at that car park early to find a solid cross shore wind, wind meter in the car park was reading average of 21mph and max of 27mph. The beach looked very dry and there was blowing sand on parts which would make it hard to make out the contours of the beach, thankfully the beach was pretty flat. Hit the beach and put up the 1.4m, headed upwind towards Marck, this wasnt enough and I was having to work it too much. I stopped to change up, decided to skip a size and go to 2.8m Predator. This was more than enough and the kite is very fast, had some very powered up blasts, got a gust that must have been about 30mph at one point and this propelled me to my new high speed of 46mph.
Stopped for lunch, after lunch convinced Beefy he should change up from his 1.8m to his 2.8m so we both set off with 2.8s. The wind had dropped a bit but we still got some 40mph runs.
Packed up just as the sun was setting and hit the Hypermarket for beer and a pizza, an excellent end to the day.
